On Sept 12, 2007, exactly six months after

Pilgrim died, Chase came to live with us.  Our

family is back up to full strength.  Here are a few

pictures from her early days here.

Chase is a retired and spayed breeding dog,

who came from Sherry Von Engel, one of our

friends from the Hampton Roads Berner club. 

She is 6 years old, a year older than CJ.

We have always had a male since our first dog,

Sasha, in 1982.  We have never had 2 girls

before.  We are having a delightful time

introducing Chase to her new neighborhood.
